What is Carfax Abbey?Carfax Abbey originated as a free dial-up Bulletin Board System where people could use their home computers to chat, play games, leave messages, and download files to play with. Since the days of pre-internet hysteria, Carfax has adapted into a web based community, where I've tried to re-create the old BBS feel. Back to TopWhat is a BBS?BBS - (Bulletin Board System) A computer system used as an information source and message system for a
particular interest group. Users dial into the BBS, review and leave messages for other users as well as communicate to other users on the
system at the same time. In addition, BBS's host games, massive download

Actually, the name comes from a book...What book is that? You'll have to

about different topics, and get to know each other. All you have to do is create

nice to be paid for it, I can't justify charging for access. Information
